The Teen and Single Mother’s Academy is an Initiative under the Kavod Foundation designed to offer a psychosocial support and friendly environment to teenage Mothers and their kids to live dignified lives as they pursue their dreams. A literacy program on life skills and a kindergarten school is integrated to make a safe haven for individuals who find themselves in this situation. We are committed to restoring hope and creating opportunities for teenage mothers and their children. We believe that teenage motherhood should not mark the end of a girl's dreams but the beginning of a new journey toward dignity, independence, vision and success.
Our mission is to empower vulnerable young and single mothers through education, vocational training, mentorship, and economic empowerment while securing a brighter future for their children. For without intervention, many remain trapped in a cycle of poverty that is passed on to the next generation due to school dropout, unemployment and social stigma.

A vocational training institution dedicated to empowering teenage mothers with practical, marketable skills. The academy aims at equipping teenage mothers with practical skills that require limited formal education but offer strong income opportunities. The skills which are already offered to the teen and single mothers include ;
we seek to incorporating more skills like Tailoring and Fashion Design, Catering and Bakery, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, Soap and Detergent making, Digital Marketing and Computer literacy. Other additional skills like basic life skills, counselling, parenting education, savings and financial planning (Financial Literacy) are included in the academy
The expected outcome is the mothers will gain employable vocational skills, start small businesses, secure employment, increase household income, improve confidence, self-esteem and become financially independent.
